ARCA Accepted Roofing Inspector

This is an accreditation from ARCA Warranty Ltd, the warranty program of the Alberta Roofing Contractors' Association. The ARCA has developed a comprehensive manual of technical standards for the application of all types of roofing systems in Alberta. A key component of their warranty program is observation of  the roofing work and technical reporting by an accepted independent third party inspector. They have developed a rigorous and challenging process for evaluating and accepting inspectors. I have held this credential since 2011.

Registered Roofing Observer (RRO) 

 This is a professional designation from the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC), a North America wide organization dedicated to the advancement of the Roofing, Waterproofing, and Building Envelope consulting professions. The designation is earned by passing a challenging technical exam after passing a thorough screening process weighted heavily upon references and project experience. RRO's are also bound to a Code of Ethics. I have held this credential since 2014.   For more information visit www.iibec.org 

Architectural Technologist

 Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) class of 1999. This two year program included instruction on architectural drafting, and construction methods and materials. Roofing systems are architectural elements of a building.
